Natchitoches Area Jaycees

The United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees) gives young people between the ages of 18 and 41 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections.

Established in 1920 to provide opportunities for young men to develop personal and leadership skills through service to others, the Jaycees have been a force for good in America and around the world for the past 88 years.

Jaycees helped establish AirMail services in America with Jaycee Charles Lindbergh, and have raised millions of dollars for causes such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the March of Dimes. They have built parks, playgrounds, hospitals, ball fields, and housing for the elderly while conducting service and support programs in thousands of communities nationwide.

President's Message

Natchitoches Area Jaycees is at one of its strongest points in its storied history. Outreaching and supporting the community since 1956, Natchitoches Area Jaycees has been a leading force in the development and growth of Natchitoches and the surrounding communities. With young, energetic, and exceptional individuals the Natchitoches Area Jaycees have hosted such events as the Cookin' on the Cane BBQ Festival, the Ducks Unlimited Banquet, and the MASH Toy Drive with 100% of the profits of all events being returned to the Natchitoches and the surrounding areas. I am proud to lead such an outstanding group of individuals and I look forward to do so in this upcoming year. We expect tremendous growth this year in all events and with that greater donations back into our community. Being part of Jaycees has been one of my most memorable experiences in Natchitoches, and I am looking forward to making many more great memories in this year.

Jason Stelly, 2014 President Natchitoches Area Jaycees
